In April 2012 Okidata introduced the C831 and C841 color laser printers, with print speeds OEM rated at up to 35 pages per minute (ppm) in both color and black-and-white printing. Duty cycles for both models were rated at 75,000 pages per month. The MFP version having the same print speeds was launched under the sub-brand Corefido in Japan.
The standard supplies set is made up of four toner cartridges yielding 10,000 pages each, and four drum units yielding 30,000 pages each. All toner cartridges require chips for the printers to function correctly.
